Was so excited to be in the area so I could try this place I've heard so much about. Got the breakfast burrito with beans, eggs, cheese, potatoes and sausage which was very filling for only $5.75 (beans and cheese had an upcharge of 65 cents), and got a large horchata for $1.80! Prices are very reasonable. The red sauce for the burrito was unlike anything I have even tried. So flavorful and unique. Staff were fast and friendly. Several chairs to sit and wait though no tables to eat in. Definitely glad we experienced! We definitely were pleased!
Went here for the first time.... Crazy busy, mostly standing room only with a few chairs to sit. THIS IS A TAKE OUT OR PICK UP ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. I am pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. We both got the Red chili burro combo (burro, rice, beans), an order of chips and salsa and two lrg drinks. I now know why they were so busy... Their prices were VERY fair (cheaper than most fast food places). The workers seem to work well and efficiently together in a pretty fast paced and hectic environment. The food was pretty good! They have one red salsa that is blended and not too hot, the red chili and tortillas were very good and rice and beans were pretty good also. Will definitely go back. Sidenote: Lots of people were ordering the tamales. Will definitely go back.
It's pretty good, especially for the price. I heard that since the covid lockdown they removed the seating - so this is a "order, pick up, and eat at home" restaurant. Honestly perfect for introverts like me! The food quality is also pretty great, you really get a bang for your buck. For me, the taste was a little off, but thats just because im used to california mexican food personally. Lovely spot!
Absolute gem of a restaurant... people are on first named basis... there is a wait.. but for me is welcomed, 1. to see that a smallbusiness doing things the right way. 2. Means the food is great but that would be an understatement and low key disrespectful. 3. The prices are great very affordable almost feels like theft..
Our friend told us this is a must try and it did not disappoint! Everything was so good! Had gotten a little bit of everything to really grasp what the place had to offer. The popularity here is pretty big so you might have to wait for a little depending on what you order. One thing you have to know its all take out. Most definitely will return!
Great prices with great quality food! I love chilaquiles and the portion size was amazing as well as the taste. My family has been going to this place for years and I’ve never gone personally, will definitely be back!
Recently arrived as a first time visitor. Strictly a "TO GO" place. The place appeared clean, had a friendly staff and served hot, fresh and delicious food with minimal lag time.
